It is amazing that five or six strawberries has the same filling the stomach effect as a slice of bread. My diet has changed and probably for the better. I hope so as I would not go on O****** again unless I simply *had* to. The question is can I maintain this low 90 Kgs weight. I weighed in at 104 Kg in October, last week at the doctors surgery I tipped the scales at 91 Kg. And then I felt confident enough to venture into town. I stuck with the medication for six months and it was another month before my body had returned to normal. I felt that I could go nowhere, not to the shops, no visiting. The diarrhea lasted for many weeks thus limiting my movement. It almost amounted to that on that night. As I use crutches to move around at night time, I thought that I would have to sleep on the throne. The diarrhea was so bad one night that I stopped counting after ten visits to the bathroom. This left me feeling drained, often for days on end. Not so, the nausea was replaced by diarrhea which was frequent and, for want of a better descriptive term, explosive. Some weeks went by without any side effects leading me to think I had weathered the storm. The side effects of O****** were, in my case, very extreme and difficult to live with. Very soon my trousers was many sizes too big for me, a bit like the pictures of extreme weight loss that 'shows' how effective such and such a diet is.īut, and there is a big but. My main problem foods were milk, bread and potatoes. I soon discovered that I had been eating way too much food for my needs and I started to lose weight. O****** works be suppressing your appetite, this it does in spades.
My wonderful wife did the injecting, which to be honest, was almost painless and nothing to worry about. It comes in a pen that injects a measured dose about two mm into the skin. O****** is expensive, and it is not allowed to claim for it on the Drugs Refund Scheme. As my mobility is limited, he suggested that I use a product called O******* which he said would do that job if I could stick with it for six months. Actually he said I should lose two stone. Last October, a consultant that was referred to told me that it would be better if I lost some weight.
